UI UX Pro Max — Searchable Design Intelligence for Agents
UI UX Pro Max packages seven design skills, a local search corpus and a CLI. The core is MIT; logo/CIP and extended asset generation sit behind a paid Premium tier.

UI UX Pro Max
UI UX Pro Max is a design-retrieval system packaged as an agent skill pack. The model does not get "design sense" from a paragraph of taste rules; it gets a Python search tool over local CSV data covering styles, palettes, typography, UX guidance, charts, and stack-specific rules.
The repository ships seven skill folders, a CLI installer, and the data corpus. The entry skill routes most design requests; the other skills cover design systems, styling, brand assets, banners, and slides.

What ships
| Skill folder | Role |
|---|---|
ui-ux-pro-max | Entry skill; the searchable design-intelligence workflow |
design | General interface design guidance |
design-system | Generate and persist a design system |
ui-styling | Styling and implementation guidance |
brand | Brand context and token scripts |
banner-design | Banner generation guidance |
slides | Slide and presentation guidance |
The entry skill's own description claims: 79 searchable styles (50 active), 192 product palettes and reasoning profiles, 74 font pairings, 119 UX guidelines, 105 curated icons, 17 GSAP presets, 25 chart types, and 22 stacks. Those counts are upstream claims; this review did not recount every CSV row.
The 22 stacks include React, Next.js, Vue, Nuxt, Svelte, Astro, SwiftUI, React Native, Flutter, HTML + Tailwind, shadcn/ui, Angular, Laravel, Three.js, Jetpack Compose, and several desktop frameworks.
How the search works
The agent runs a Python script against the local data:
python3 .claude/skills/ui-ux-pro-max/scripts/search.py "fintech banking dashboard" --design-system -f markdown
The script uses only the Python standard library. It ranks rows with BM25-style matching, applies product-type rules, and can emit a complete design-system recommendation: pattern, style, palette, typography, effects, anti-patterns, and a pre-delivery checklist. --persist writes the result to design-system/<project>/MASTER.md plus optional page overrides. It does not overwrite an existing MASTER.md; pass --force to replace it, and the same skip rule applies to an existing page override file.
The path above is a project install. A --global CLI install puts the script under ~/.claude/skills/ui-ux-pro-max/scripts/; a plugin install exposes it under the plugin root the agent reports. Run from the project root and pass --output-dir <project-root> when persisting.
Local search is not the whole pack. search.py makes no network calls, but design-system/scripts/fetch-background.py fetches background images from Pexels via web scraping (the script says "no API key required"). The brand scripts also write token and asset files. Treat the pack as mixed: local retrieval for search, network and file writes for some auxiliary skills. Review the script you actually invoke.
Free versus Premium
| Capability | Basic (this repository) | Premium (paid) |
|---|---|---|
| UI/UX search corpus | Yes | Yes |
| Design-system generation | Yes | Yes |
| CLI and agent installers | Yes | Yes |
| Logo/CIP generation and brand asset pipeline | Partial (brand skill) | Yes |
| Banners, slides, custom iconography | Partial skill folders | Extended asset generation |
| AI-generated visual assets | No | Yes |
| Enterprise design-token architecture | No | Yes |
| Priority support | No | Yes |
The repository is MIT-licensed and is the Basic tier. The Premium tier is sold separately on uupm.cc. The tweet that surfaced this project said "all free"; that is true for the code in this repository, not for the Premium offering.
Install
/plugin marketplace add nextlevelbuilder/ui-ux-pro-max-skill
/plugin install ui-ux-pro-max@ui-ux-pro-max-skill
The README notes that marketplace installs before v2.5.1 could fail on internal symlinks. If the install fails, use the CLI path.
Prerequisites and footprint
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Runtime | Python 3 for the search script; Node.js and npx for the CLI |
| Python packages | None; the search script uses the standard library |
| Network | Install-time download; the Pexels background fetcher needs network; search does not |
| Credentials | None for search; the Premium tier is a separate purchase |
| Writes | Skill folder; optional design-system/ files and brand/token outputs |
| Context cost | The entry SKILL.md plus whatever data the script returns |
Illustrative use
This is a constructed example, not a run against a live project.
Request: "Build a dashboard for a fintech banking product."
- The agent searches the local corpus with
--design-system. - The result selects a product profile, a landing or dashboard pattern, a style family, a palette, typography, and anti-patterns (for example, avoid neon gradients for banking).
- The agent implements the UI using the project's existing stack and tokens.
- Optional:
--persistwritesMASTER.mdif it does not already exist; pass--forceto replace it. A later page-specific query can add an override file. - The pre-delivery checklist is the review gate: contrast, focus states, reduced motion, reflow, and responsive widths.
The output is guidance. It does not compile, render, or verify the result.
How it differs from adjacent pages
| Page | What it provides |
|---|---|
| UI UX Pro Max | A searchable design database plus design-system generation |
| Taste-Skill | Opinionated anti-slop constraints and a design vocabulary |
| React Best Practices | Code-level React/Next.js performance rules |
| Web Performance Audit | Measurement of the shipped page |
| Motion Design | Universal animation timing and choreography |
| Motion AI Kit | Motion-specific implementation and audits |
The 17 GSAP presets in this pack are static motion suggestions, not a motion workflow. There is no overlap with the two Motion pages beyond that.
Limits
- The counts are vendor-supplied. This review verified the seven skill folders and the plugin version, not every row of the 192-palette or 119-guideline datasets.
- Python is a real dependency. The agent should ask you to install Python; it should not install software on its own.
- Not uniformly offline. Search is local; the Pexels background fetcher and brand asset scripts are not. Review network and file-writing scripts before use.
- Premium is a separate product. The repository does not contain the Premium logo/CIP generation and extended asset pipeline.
- Recommendations are not implementation. The pack cannot guarantee the generated UI is accessible or performant; the checklist is guidance.
- Adoption is recent. The repository was created in late 2025; large star growth is distribution, not an independent quality measure.
- No runtime test here. No skill was installed, no search was run, and no UI was generated for this review.
Verify it yourself
- Read
.claude-plugin/plugin.jsonand the entrySKILL.md. Confirm the version and the seven skill folders. - Run
python3 .claude/skills/ui-ux-pro-max/scripts/search.py "SaaS dashboard" --domain stylein a scratch install (use~/.claude/skills/...for a--globalinstall). It should return local results without network access. - Open
design-system/scripts/fetch-background.pybefore using the slides or background workflow. Confirm you accept its Pexels scraping behavior. - Run
npx ui-ux-pro-max-cli init --dry-runto see exactly which files the installer would write. - Check uupm.cc for the current Premium boundary before paying; the repository README is a snapshot.
