Space and Creature Book World Prompts for GPT Image 2
Nine sci-fi and creature worlds: character portraits, miniature dioramas inside open books, and painterly scenes with copyable GPT Image 2 prompts and story seeds.
A second batch of world-in-a-book prompts, this time from space and from the stranger corners of a bestiary. Each set runs portrait, then miniature world inside an open book, then one painterly scene, with a short story seed for the character.
What changed after the first batch
The first fantasy book worlds set taught two lessons that these prompts apply directly.
Books kept getting cropped, so every book-world prompt now states the framing twice: the entire open book must be visible with a wide margin of surface on all four sides, filling about 70 percent of the frame. Numerical instructions are also avoided near instruments, and any dial, astrolabe, or clock is asked for a blank face with no numerals.
"Simplified oil pastel" was ignored in every scene, so these scenes ask for a rich painterly storybook illustration instead: soft gouache brushwork, colored-pencil texture, and deliberate areas of rest. That is a style the model produces reliably.
How to use the set
Generate the portrait first, keep it open, and attach it when you generate the matching book world and scene. Attach the book world to the scene as a second reference for palette and setting. Identity, clothing, and props still drift, so compare the results and regenerate once if the character changes. Use original characters or references you have permission to use.
Create a 3:4 vertical fantasy illustration of [book object] on [surface]. The entire open book is visible with a wide margin of surface on all four sides; the book fills about 70% of the frame, seen from a slightly elevated three-quarter angle. Inside the pages, build one contained miniature [world] as a physical diorama that respects the covers. Use [three palette colors] and turn [two character objects] into architecture, ornaments, or landscape details. If a character reference is attached, borrow its palette and motifs only; do not depict the person. Include [one focal landmark], [two supporting details], and [one mysterious detail]. Use [materials] and [lighting] for a [mood] atmosphere. Keep the focal landmark readable and the surrounding room quiet. No readable text, letters, numbers, logos, or watermark.
Vessa Roke and the ring-planet salvage yard
Vessa strips dead freighters out of a gas giant's ice rings and sells the parts back to the ships that abandoned them. A hull comes through with its hatch cut from the inside, and the salvage ledger lists it as scrapped eleven years ago.
Character portrait

Create a vertical 3:4 fantasy character portrait of Vessa Roke, an original ring-salvage pilot: an adult woman with olive skin, a shaved head with a short grey crest, a patched gunmetal flight suit with lime-yellow webbing, and a cracked coral-orange visor helm hanging at her hip. Show a clear three-quarter view from head to knees, with the signature objects visible. Use gunmetal grey, lime yellow, and coral orange as the dominant palette. Gentle painterly storybook concept art, simple background, soft directional light, readable silhouette and natural anatomy. No other characters, text, logo, or watermark.
Book world

Create a 3:4 vertical fantasy illustration of an oil-stained ship's salvage log with riveted metal corners, lying on a dented workbench. The entire open book is visible with a wide margin of tabletop on all four sides; the book fills about 70% of the frame, seen from a slightly elevated three-quarter angle. Inside the pages, a miniature salvage yard floats in a gas giant's ice rings as a contained diorama. Use gunmetal grey, lime yellow, and coral orange, and turn a magnetic grapple hook and a cracked visor helm into crane rigging and hull decals. If a character reference is attached, use its palette and motifs only; do not depict the person. A half-stripped freighter hull is the focal landmark, its cockpit still lit. Tethered cargo pods drift in a slow line, and a repair cradle of fused ice holds a broken engine. At the far edge of the page stands one hatch cut open from the inside, edges curled outward like petals. Use cold blue-white ring ice, scuffed metal, frayed cable, and a faint engine haze. Rim light from the gas giant, lime work lamps, and a single coral warning glow. Wide margin of dark workbench, quiet mood, readable at a glance. No readable text, letters, numbers, logos, or watermark.
Picture-book scene

Create a vertical 3:4 painterly storybook illustration of Vessa Roke, the same ring-salvage pilot: an adult woman with olive skin, a shaved head with a short grey crest, a patched gunmetal flight suit with lime-yellow webbing, and a cracked coral-orange visor helm. If attached, use the portrait as the character identity reference and the book-world image as a setting reference; otherwise follow this description. Preserve the hair, skin tone, clothing, and signature objects. Scene: Vessa stands braced on a drifting hull plate, one hand on a whipping grapple line, reaching for a tumbling cargo pod while the ice rings and the gas giant fill the sky behind her. Use gunmetal grey, lime yellow, and coral orange with one dominant decorative motif: large broken ring arcs. Render as a richly painted storybook illustration with soft gouache brushwork, colored-pencil texture, clean facial features, and calm areas of rest in the composition. One coherent scene, no panels, text, logo, or watermark.
Thale Mbeki and the bioluminescent jungle moon
Thale catalogues a moon where every living thing glows, and where one clearing has been dark for as long as his records reach. His samples from the edge of that clearing keep growing toward it, even sealed in glass.
Character portrait

Create a vertical 3:4 fantasy character portrait of Thale Mbeki, an original exobotanist: an adult man with dark brown skin, close-cropped hair streaked with silver, a cream field coat with violet-magenta trim, and a glass spore sampler on a shoulder strap. Show a clear three-quarter view from head to knees, with the signature objects visible. Use violet-magenta, spore teal, and cream as the dominant palette. Gentle painterly storybook concept art, simple background, soft directional light, readable silhouette and natural anatomy. No other characters, text, logo, or watermark.
Book world

Create a 3:4 vertical fantasy illustration of a water-stained botanical field guide with a mossy canvas cover, resting on a metal laboratory bench. The entire open book is visible with a wide margin of bench on all four sides; the book fills about 70% of the frame, seen from a slightly elevated three-quarter angle. Inside the pages, a miniature bioluminescent fungal forest grows as a contained diorama beneath a huge looming planet. Use violet-magenta, spore teal, and cream, and turn a glass spore sampler and a coiled luminous vine into lamps and walkway rails. If a character reference is attached, use its palette and motifs only; do not depict the person. The focal landmark is one enormous mushroom tree with a glowing underside. A plank canopy walkway crosses to a small research tent lit from within, and a river of spore-light winds between stalk houses. At the edge of the diorama sits a perfect dark circle where nothing glows at all. Use translucent caps, wet bark, drifting spores, and soft moss. Cool violet ambient light with warm cream tent light and one teal highlight. The huge planet hangs above the diorama, partially cut by the page edge as a painted backdrop. Quiet, wondrous, slightly wrong. No readable text, letters, numbers, logos, or watermark.
Picture-book scene

Create a vertical 3:4 painterly storybook illustration of Thale Mbeki, the same exobotanist: an adult man with dark brown skin, close-cropped hair streaked with silver, a cream field coat with violet-magenta trim, and a glass spore sampler. If attached, use the portrait as the character identity reference and the book-world image as a setting reference; otherwise follow this description. Preserve the hair, skin tone, clothing, and signature objects. Scene: Thale kneels on a root bridge holding his sampler against a glowing cap, spores drifting past, while the dark clearing waits behind him and a vast banded planet fills the sky. Use violet-magenta, spore teal, and cream with one dominant decorative motif: large glowing cap curves. Render as a richly painted storybook illustration with soft gouache brushwork, colored-pencil texture, clean facial features, and calm areas of rest in the composition. One coherent scene, no panels, text, logo, or watermark.
Halim Sarraj and the crystal desert planet
Halim sails glass dunes for a living, reading the songs the crystal spires make when the twin suns heat them. One spire has started singing a note no one has heard before, and it is getting louder.
Character portrait

Create a vertical 3:4 fantasy character portrait of Halim Sarraj, an original sand-sailor: an adult man with warm brown skin, a sun-bleached black beard, sand-scoured goggles pushed up on his forehead, a dusty plum storm robe over a glass-white undersuit, and a brass tuning fork at his belt. Show a clear three-quarter view from head to knees, with the signature objects visible. Use glass white, burnt orange, and dusty plum as the dominant palette. Gentle painterly storybook concept art, simple background, soft directional light, readable silhouette and natural anatomy. No other characters, text, logo, or watermark.
Book world

Create a 3:4 vertical fantasy illustration of a route book with a glass-and-brass cover, open on a sun-baked stone slab. The entire open book is visible with a wide margin of stone on all four sides; the book fills about 70% of the frame, seen from a slightly elevated three-quarter angle. Inside the pages, a miniature crystal desert spreads across glass dunes under two small suns. Use glass white, burnt orange, and dusty plum, and turn sand-scoured goggles and a brass tuning fork into wind-vane shapes and a split spire. If a character reference is attached, use its palette and motifs only; do not depict the person. The focal landmark is a cluster of singing spires, one split from tip to base. A sail-sled cuts a long curved track across the dunes toward a stone water cache, and a ring of small listening stones surrounds the spires. A single shard floats just above the broken spire, held in mid-air. Use polished glass, furrowed sand, weathered brass, and hard twin shadows. Low burning-orange light with a lavender shadow side. Bright but quiet, generous empty dune space inside the book. No readable text, letters, numbers, logos, or watermark.
Picture-book scene

Create a vertical 3:4 painterly storybook illustration of Halim Sarraj, the same sand-sailor: an adult man with warm brown skin, a sun-bleached black beard, sand-scoured goggles, a dusty plum storm robe over a glass-white undersuit, and a brass tuning fork. If attached, use the portrait as the character identity reference and the book-world image as a setting reference; otherwise follow this description. Preserve the hair, skin tone, clothing, and signature objects. Scene: Halim rides a glass-hulled sail-sled across a dune ridge, tuning fork raised to the wind, twin suns low behind a range of singing crystal spires. Use glass white, burnt orange, and dusty plum with one dominant decorative motif: long curved dune lines. Render as a richly painted storybook illustration with soft gouache brushwork, colored-pencil texture, clean facial features, and calm areas of rest in the composition. One coherent scene, no panels, text, logo, or watermark.
Kirra Bon and the derelict generation ship
Kirra was born eleven decks down and has never seen a planet, only the forest that grew into the ship after the crew left. She has been told the sealed bulkhead at the end of her corridor holds the engine room; the moss under it says something is still breathing.
Character portrait

Create a vertical 3:4 fantasy character portrait of Kirra Bon, an original ship-born child: an eleven-year-old girl with brown skin, a crooked black braid, freckles, an oversized oxidized-bronze work jacket with rolled sleeves, and a braided friendship cord around her wrist. She carries a small wooden toy starship. Show a clear three-quarter view from head to knees, with the signature objects visible. Use oxidized bronze, fern green, and bone white as the dominant palette. Gentle painterly storybook concept art, simple background, soft directional light, readable silhouette and natural anatomy. No other characters, text, logo, or watermark.
Book world

Create a 3:4 vertical fantasy illustration of a worn children's storybook with a dented alloy cover, open on the deck plating of a mossy corridor. The entire open book is visible with a wide margin of deck plating on all four sides; the book fills about 70% of the frame, seen from a slightly elevated three-quarter angle. Inside the pages, a miniature overgrown generation ship unfolds as a contained diorama. Use oxidized bronze, fern green, and bone white, and turn a wooden toy starship and a braided friendship cord into rooftop ornaments and rope bridges. If a character reference is attached, use the palette and motifs only; do not depict the person. The focal landmark is a full tree growing up through a torn hull breach into a ring corridor. Lit farm-deck windows glow in the curve of the hull, a tiny stairwell descends between decks, and one sealed bulkhead door sits slightly ajar with a green shoot pushing through the gap. Use riveted alloy, hanging vines, wet moss, and dusty light shafts. Cold bone-white corridor light crossed by a warm green glow from the farm decks. Lonely but safe, with soft haze in the hull curve. No readable text, letters, numbers, logos, or watermark.
Picture-book scene

Create a vertical 3:4 painterly storybook illustration of Kirra Bon, the same ship-born child: an eleven-year-old girl with brown skin, a crooked black braid, freckles, an oversized oxidized-bronze work jacket, and a braided friendship cord, holding a small wooden toy starship. If attached, use the portrait as the character identity reference and the book-world image as a setting reference; otherwise follow this description. Preserve the hair, skin tone, clothing, and signature objects. Scene: Kirra stands at the base of the tree that grows through the hull breach, holding the toy starship up toward the light, the sealed door just visible behind the roots. Use oxidized bronze, fern green, and bone white with one dominant decorative motif: large curling fern fronds. Render as a richly painted storybook illustration with soft gouache brushwork, colored-pencil texture, clean facial features, and calm areas of rest in the composition. One coherent scene, no panels, text, logo, or watermark.
Rook Ilyan and the comet monastery
Rook has spent thirty years measuring a comet that is slowly carrying his monastery away from every star he knows. The tail has begun to brighten on a schedule that matches no orbit in the codex, and the oldest monks have stopped speaking about it.
Character portrait

Create a vertical 3:4 fantasy character portrait of Rook Ilyan, an original monk-astronomer: an older man with weathered light brown skin, a shaved head, a thin white beard, a charcoal-black wool habit with comet-white rope belt, and a brass astrolabe with a blank face and no numerals held in both hands. Show a clear three-quarter view from head to knees, with the signature objects visible. Use charcoal black, comet white, and ember orange as the dominant palette. Gentle painterly storybook concept art, simple background, soft directional light, readable silhouette and natural anatomy. No other characters, text, logo, or watermark.
Book world

Create a 3:4 vertical fantasy illustration of a monastery codex with ice-glass clasps, open on a frost-covered stone lectern. The entire open book is visible with a wide margin of stone on all four sides; the book fills about 70% of the frame, seen from a slightly elevated three-quarter angle. Inside the pages, a miniature temple carved into comet ice rises as a contained diorama, trailing a glowing tail across the page. Use charcoal black, comet white, and ember orange, and turn a brass astrolabe with a blank face and no numerals and a votive candle stub into a dome window and warm cell lights. If a character reference is attached, use the palette and motifs only; do not depict the person. The focal landmark is a stepped ice cloister cut into the comet's spine, with a bell tower and a long shaft toward the sky. Small carved cells glow along a frozen stair, and the comet tail streams off the far page edge in ember-orange threads. One cell window is bricked shut with pale ice. Use blue-white ice, frosted stone, soot-dark timber, and thin candlelight. Deep black space above, comet white rim light, one warm ember accent low in the frame. Still, cold, and devotional. No readable text, letters, numbers, logos, or watermark.
Picture-book scene

Create a vertical 3:4 painterly storybook illustration of Rook Ilyan, the same monk-astronomer: an older man with weathered light brown skin, a shaved head, a thin white beard, a charcoal-black wool habit, and a brass astrolabe with a blank face and no numerals. If attached, use the portrait as the character identity reference and the book-world image as a setting reference; otherwise follow this description. Preserve the hair, skin tone, clothing, and signature objects. Scene: Rook stands in the ice cloister with the astrolabe raised, lit by one candle, while the comet's brightening tail sweeps across the sky above the carved bell tower. Use charcoal black, comet white, and ember orange with one dominant decorative motif: long comet-tail streaks. Render as a richly painted storybook illustration with soft gouache brushwork, colored-pencil texture, clean facial features, and calm areas of rest in the composition. One coherent scene, no panels, text, logo, or watermark.
Bene Vatto and the living-island sky whale
Bene ferries passengers across a whale that has slept for four hundred years, and every village on its back pays her in rope. Lately the whale has begun to drift lower, and the mooring rings at the western edge have started to sing.
Character portrait

Create a vertical 3:4 fantasy character portrait of Bene Vatto, an original ferrywoman: a sturdy middle-aged woman with deep brown skin, grey-streaked hair in a thick bun, a saffron-yellow quilted vest over a sky-turquoise shirt, and a whale-bone boat hook over one shoulder. A small tin bell hangs at her belt. Show a clear three-quarter view from head to knees, with the signature objects visible. Use sky turquoise, cloud grey, and saffron as the dominant palette. Gentle painterly storybook concept art, simple background, soft directional light, readable silhouette and natural anatomy. No other characters, text, logo, or watermark.
Book world

Create a 3:4 vertical fantasy illustration of a whale-leather-bound ferry ledger, open on a rope-wrapped crate. The entire open book is visible with a wide margin of crate wood on all four sides; the book fills about 70% of the frame, seen from a slightly elevated three-quarter angle. Inside the pages, a miniature village rides on a sleeping sky whale's back as a contained diorama. Use sky turquoise, cloud grey, and saffron, and turn a whale-bone boat hook and a small tin bell into roof finials and a bell tower. If a character reference is attached, use its palette and motifs only; do not depict the person. The focal landmark is a cluster of stilt houses on the whale's back around a small saffron bell tower. Rope ladders hang down the whale's flank, tiny gardens sit in its folds, and a ferry waits at a landing. At the western edge one mooring ring stands empty, its rope cut. Use cloud-grey hide, weathered planks, coiled rope, and soft spout mist. High pale turquoise sky with layered clouds below the whale. Calm and airy, with clear separation between whale, village, and empty sky. No readable text, letters, numbers, logos, or watermark.
Picture-book scene

Create a vertical 3:4 painterly storybook illustration of Bene Vatto, the same ferrywoman: a sturdy middle-aged woman with deep brown skin, grey-streaked hair in a thick bun, a saffron quilted vest over a sky-turquoise shirt, a whale-bone boat hook, and a small tin bell. If attached, use the portrait as the character identity reference and the book-world image as a setting reference; otherwise follow this description. Preserve the hair, skin tone, clothing, and signature objects. Scene: Bene stands at the empty mooring ring on the whale's western edge, boat hook planted, looking down through a gap in the clouds while the village bells ring behind her. Use sky turquoise, cloud grey, and saffron with one dominant decorative motif: large soft cloud spirals. Render as a richly painted storybook illustration with soft gouache brushwork, colored-pencil texture, clean facial features, and calm areas of rest in the composition. One coherent scene, no panels, text, logo, or watermark.
Dalit Morrow and the mushroom-folk caverns
Dalit lights the lamps of a cavern city whose inhabitants are shorter than her hand and afraid of the dark. One lane has gone unlit for three nights, and the fungus folk will not say what moved into the empty caps at its end.
Character portrait

Create a vertical 3:4 fantasy character portrait of Dalit Morrow, an original lamplighter: an adult person with pale peach-toned skin, short umber-brown hair under a honey-gold headscarf, a heavy umber work coat with many pockets, and a long lamp-lighting pole. A bundle of wax tapers is tucked in the coat. Show a clear three-quarter view from head to knees, with the signature objects visible. Use pale peach, umber brown, and honey gold as the dominant palette. Gentle painterly storybook concept art, simple background, soft directional light, readable silhouette and natural anatomy. No other characters, text, logo, or watermark.
Book world

Create a 3:4 vertical fantasy illustration of a bestiary bound in pale cap-leather, open on a cave ledge. The entire open book is visible with a wide margin of rock on all four sides; the book fills about 70% of the frame, seen from a slightly elevated three-quarter angle. Inside the pages, a miniature cavern city of mushroom folk unfolds as a contained diorama. Use pale peach, umber brown, and honey gold, and turn a lamp-lighting pole and a bundle of wax tapers into lampposts and a spiral stair. If a character reference is attached, use its palette and motifs only; do not depict the person. The focal landmark is a cluster of stalk houses with cap roofs around a single tall lamppost. A bridge of gills crosses a dark chasm, tiny figures gather at a market, and a stone stair curls up the cave wall. One lane at the edge of the town is completely unlit, with three empty caps at its end. Use soft cap flesh, dry stalk fiber, wet stone, and warm lamp glass. Honey-gold pools of lamplight against deep umber shadow, pale peach highlights on the caps. Cozy at the center, uneasy at the edges. No readable text, letters, numbers, logos, or watermark.
Picture-book scene

Create a vertical 3:4 painterly storybook illustration of Dalit Morrow, the same lamplighter: an adult person with pale peach-toned skin, short umber-brown hair under a honey-gold headscarf, a heavy umber work coat with many pockets, a long lamp-lighting pole, and a bundle of wax tapers. If attached, use the portrait as the character identity reference and the book-world image as a setting reference; otherwise follow this description. Preserve the hair, skin tone, clothing, and signature objects. Scene: Dalit kneels on a stone step to light a row of small cap-lanterns, while a handful of tiny fungus folk watch from a doorway and the unlit lane waits behind them. Use pale peach, umber brown, and honey gold with one dominant decorative motif: large rounded cap shapes. Render as a richly painted storybook illustration with soft gouache brushwork, colored-pencil texture, clean facial features, and calm areas of rest in the composition. One coherent scene, no panels, text, logo, or watermark.
Wren Okonkwo and the moth-winged cloud city
Wren carries messages between houses slung beneath the wings of giant moths, and knows better than anyone which houses are drifting out of formation. A loose house has begun circling back toward the storm, and its message tube is addressed to her.
Character portrait

Create a vertical 3:4 fantasy character portrait of Wren Okonkwo, an original courier: a young adult woman with deep brown skin, close-cropped hair with a moth-antenna hairpin, a storm-grey flight coat with wing-tan leather straps, and a rolled message tube across her chest. Show a clear three-quarter view from head to knees, with the signature objects visible. Use storm grey, wing tan, and lightning white as the dominant palette. Gentle painterly storybook concept art, simple background, soft directional light, readable silhouette and natural anatomy. No other characters, text, logo, or watermark.
Book world

Create a 3:4 vertical fantasy illustration of a dispatch book with folded-paper pages and thread binding, open on a cloud-soaked railing. The entire open book is visible with a wide margin of railing wood on all four sides; the book fills about 70% of the frame, seen from a slightly elevated three-quarter angle. Inside the pages, a miniature cloud city carried by giant moths hangs as a contained diorama. Use storm grey, wing tan, and lightning white, and turn a rolled message tube and a moth-antenna hairpin into tower finials and antenna-like rigging. If a character reference is attached, use its palette and motifs only; do not depict the person. The focal landmark is a great moth with a house slung beneath each wing. Rope harnesses cross its body to a lantern signal platform, smaller moths carry crates in a loose formation, and one house drifts free of its harness, trailing a snapped line. Use powdery wing scales, taut rope, wet timber, and lit paper windows. Storm-grey cloud banks, one lightning-white break above, warm lantern glints below. Airy and precarious, with clear silhouettes against the clouds. No readable text, letters, numbers, logos, or watermark.
Picture-book scene

Create a vertical 3:4 painterly storybook illustration of Wren Okonkwo, the same courier: a young adult woman with deep brown skin, close-cropped hair with a moth-antenna hairpin, a storm-grey flight coat with wing-tan leather straps, and a rolled message tube. If attached, use the portrait as the character identity reference and the book-world image as a setting reference; otherwise follow this description. Preserve the hair, skin tone, clothing, and signature objects. Scene: Wren rides on a giant moth's back, one hand on a harness line and the message tube in the other, houses hanging below on their ropes, a dark storm wall ahead. Use storm grey, wing tan, and lightning white with one dominant decorative motif: large scalloped wing shapes. Render as a richly painted storybook illustration with soft gouache brushwork, colored-pencil texture, clean facial features, and calm areas of rest in the composition. One coherent scene, no panels, text, logo, or watermark.
Osip Kren and the clockwork insect swamp
Osip builds dragonflies that pollinate a swamp where the real ones died out, and he signs each one with a gear from his jar. One has come back with a wing he never made, and it will not let him near the water wheel.
Character portrait

Create a vertical 3:4 fantasy character portrait of Osip Kren, an original tinkerer: an adult man with light brown skin, a messy dark topknot, soot on one cheek, a marsh-olive work apron over a tin-grey shirt, an oversized brass winding key in one hand, and a jar of loose brass gears at his belt. Show a clear three-quarter view from head to knees, with the signature objects visible. Use marsh olive, tin grey, and dragonfly teal as the dominant palette. Gentle painterly storybook concept art, simple background, soft directional light, readable silhouette and natural anatomy. No other characters, text, logo, or watermark.
Book world

Create a 3:4 vertical fantasy illustration of a riveted tin-plate notebook of diagrams, open on a workbench among reeds. The entire open book is visible with a wide margin of bench and reeds on all four sides; the book fills about 70% of the frame, seen from a slightly elevated three-quarter angle. Inside the pages, a miniature clockwork swamp village sits on stilts as a contained diorama. Use marsh olive, tin grey, and dragonfly teal, and turn an oversized winding key and a jar of brass gears into a water-wheel hub and hut ornaments. If a character reference is attached, use its palette and motifs only; do not depict the person. The focal landmark is a beetle-shell hut cluster around a slow brass water wheel. Mechanical dragonflies hover over the channels, a lantern row marks a plank walkway, and one dragonfly sits apart with a single mismatched wing. Use iridescent beetle shell, tarnished tin, wet reed, and glassy water. Green marsh light with teal glints on metal and warm lantern pinpoints. Busy at the center, calmer at the edges, mechanical parts kept readable. No readable text, letters, numbers, logos, or watermark.
Picture-book scene

Create a vertical 3:4 painterly storybook illustration of Osip Kren, the same tinkerer: an adult man with light brown skin, a messy dark topknot, a marsh-olive work apron over a tin-grey shirt, an oversized brass winding key, and a jar of loose brass gears. If attached, use the portrait as the character identity reference and the book-world image as a setting reference; otherwise follow this description. Preserve the hair, skin tone, clothing, and signature objects. Scene: Osip stands knee-deep in marsh water, winding a mechanical dragonfly with his key while others hover around him and beetle-shell huts glow behind. Use marsh olive, tin grey, and dragonfly teal with one dominant decorative motif: large dragonfly wing outlines. Render as a richly painted storybook illustration with soft gouache brushwork, colored-pencil texture, clean facial features, and calm areas of rest in the composition. One coherent scene, no panels, text, logo, or watermark.
